Pros:  Very compact with rugged construction. Slight forward cant of weapon makes easy/natural reach.
Cons:  Not sure I like the o-ring retainer...mine has lasted well but I find it unnecessary
Would recommend:  yes

Pros:  Very comfortable and easy to use.
Cons:  Hammer retainer lasted less than 6 mo.
Would recommend:  yes

I looked hard for a holster for my Ruger SP101 that I could justify for the price. This one fits the bill! However my only complaint is the rubber "O" ring retainer. Mine lasted less than 6 mo. I replaced it with a piece of leather that has enough stretch to slip over the hammer. The gun fits snug enough in the holster that dislodging would be unlikely without the leather thong.

Pros:  Great quality holster with excellent fit.
Cons:  The retainer ring doesn't work well and won't last the life of the holster.
Would recommend:  yes

Overall this holster is what you would expect from Bianchi. The quality, fit, and look is second to none. However, look closely at the rubber retainer ring before purchasing. I find it a problem due to the fact that it is a rubber o-ring, and will not last. Also, it does not have a quick release in comparison to a more common snap, or other traditional method of securing a firearm. This would be a great holster for the range or outdoors, but I would think twice before using for personal defence.
