Great holster using the with the ultra lightweight Ruger LCR. Quality leather. Snug fit without the worry of having the gun falling out. Rides high for awesome concealment. Very light setup. Heavy guns may not work as well due to the high Cary position.

The holster is well made, but not well thought out. It has 2 possible positions, which seems good till you try to use it. In the vertical position the entire gun is above the belt line and wants to fall over and twist the belt. In the canted forward position the unused belt hole digs into your hip and makes it difficult to get into your pocket. I have an older style Bianci pancake holster that has served me well for over 20 years. With that as my standard this holster was a disapointment.

As a retired police officer I needed an outside the belt holster for my Glock model 36 to qualify with my former department under the federal HR 218 statute. Upon receiving the holster the Glock fit perfectly . No need to "break in" the leather or force the gun into the holster. Thumb break worked flawlessly and with the 2 different cants,I was able to get a comfortable angle. I qualified with the Glock and this holster even better than with my old service weapon and a different brand holster! The holster stayed put and the gun entered and exited it like clockwork. I recommmend this holster highly, for on or off duty use, as well as for recreational shooters.
