Pros:  Nylon is cheaper.
Cons:  Thick plastic strap with velcro is much too thick.
Would recommend:  no

I bought several of these and I found the same flaw in all of them. The movable plastic strip with velcro attached on the body side of the holster is much too thick. There is barely enough room for a belt in the solid injection molded belt "loop" when the plastic strap with velcro attached is in place. I was only able to get my belt through the belt loop with no gun in the holster. I called Bianchi and suggested they either thin down the strap or use the same type of nylon straps that they use in the sportster holster. Also, the gun rides too high relative to the center of balance; that is, to much of the gun is above the belt and the holster sort of flops. I'm NOT a fan.

The liner inside came loose after only a few draws of the gun. Now the gun snags on the liner when I try to draw the gun.

Pros:  Function to affordability
Cons:  None really (slightly less protection than molded leather I suppose)
Would recommend:  yes

Picked this up for my old duty gun (Beretta 92F) as I wanted to try out one of the accumold holsters with a firearm I was intimately familiar with carrying in a variety of holsters from duty, to camping, to concealment. For the price I was VERY pleased and surprised at how decent this holster is. Admittedly, it will not protect your firearm as well as a hard molded leather holster will, but this would make a very decent range holster, even a good hiker (assuming you're not going to be doing any rock-scrambling) if you happen to carry a full-sized auto on your wilderness excursions (I don't any longer, preferring my air frame .22 revolver). I was particularly pleased with how well you can get the thumbsnap to work (usually where I find most fault with these 'soft' holsters). If you are looking for a simple, light, affordable light-duty holster, this one works quite well.
