great product

by Tim, from United States, TX Written on March 16, 2015
Leather with auto retention. Believe it or not it conceals my Rem r1 1911 under a large tee shirt. The release button is easy and natural to release. What's not to love. Wish they made one for my glock 29....

Solidly built. Feels like a quality product. Did not fit my CZ 75 SP-01

by Calnewshooter, from United States, CA Written on March 10, 2015
Solidly built. Feels like a quality product. Did not fit my CZ 75 SP-01. After going through the prompts on the optics planet website, they pointed me towards this product. I was pretty bummed that the holster did not fit. I went through some of the steps of breaking it in to fit my pistol, but it just didn't look like it was going to happen without using leather softeners and oils. I called Bianchi to see if I should continue to break in the holster or just return it. They advised me to return the holster. If I could post this review without rating the product I would, so that I wouldn't have to affect the true rating. For now I will rate it a 5 to avoid upsetting the current score....

Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster - Plain Tan

by Trouthog, from United States, WA Written on October 16, 2014
This is my 2nd Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster - Plain Tan. The 1st was for my Browning HI Power. Since then several competitors have come out with nice optiuons as well, I have tried several. I came back to the Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster - Plain Tan, because this unit rides high and snug against my 3 Oclock postion, best for my G26. The retention system is top notch. This system is tigh and fast with never a worry about release or draw. I just find myself going back to leather for feel, and it seems to mold better to my body after half a dozen long days. Yes it does take a few days to break in. I saddle soap the Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster - Plain Tan unit 2-3 per week for the 1st 3 weeks and suddenly the Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster - Plain Tan just sticks to my side like glue. My only concern is the break in period, really not a big deal. I actually look forward to the on going increasing comfort level. Now it fits like a pair of old slippers.
OpticsPlanet.com makes it hard to say NO! Thanks...
Pros:
  • comfortable to wear
Cons:
  • Break in period
Best Used for:
  • Concealed carry.

workmanship, operation, all appear top notch....
Options listed #22144 as being compatible for the Cz P07, but it's not even close.

Bianchi 82 CarryLok Holster

by Jon, from United States, WV Written on July 31, 2014
Great Product and Outstanding Service! Great holster for concealed carry! Easily accessible under just about any shirt not tucked. The holster sits very close to the body, and is relatively thin but very well built. I will be purchasing another one for my other Sig! Thanks again Optics Planet!...

Perfect

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on September 14, 2013
This holster is comfortable enough that I wear it for 10 hours or more at work, then wear it home. It holds my Sig P229 so close to the hip I can wear a fitted button up shirt without printing. Once it's broken in the pistol will holster easily with one hand while keeping its retention properties. I have a small waist so the belt loops get pulled in pretty far but I have yet to see any tearing in the leather or stitching. Don't let it's manufacturing location (Mexico)scare you off, it's well made.
Pros: Comfortable, rigid, durable, great retention, good price, and looks great for open carry.
Cons: None so far....
