I wear a 36/38 jeans and they fit normally so I figured a 38 would fit and didn't read the instructions on how to size the belt properly. I could buckle the size 38 but it was the last hole and was really tight. Using a tape measure it turns out I needed a size 42 in this belt. The new belt fits perfectly and I buckle it in the middle hole.

Pros:  Super sturdy, heavy duty, well made, Also, sporty appearance.
Cons:  Needs a "break in" period--not really a con but something to consider.

Since this belt has a suede lining, it is thicker than the average belt and therefore requires a longer "break in" period than some others. It is perfect with the Bianchi cross draw holster for the Ruger GP 100. Also, due to its thickness, I needed to return the original for one two inches larger. Quick response from Optics Planet.
