Bianchi UM92II

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AZ Written on December 15, 2011
Military style holster with top cover to protect rear of pistol from brush and other debris. Excellent quick release for belts and other attachment systems. Heavy cordura with padding and a cool cleaning rod and storage on the portion of holster outside the barrel. This holster is not for concealment.
Pros: Excellent coverage and protection for pistols of various manufacturers. Stout functional quick disconnect to facilitate attaching / removal from belts or straps. Pistol stays put and is protected from brush and debris which is the ticket for hunters or others that hike lots in varied terrain and brush and have a sidearm. It takes minimal time to unhook cover and extract pistol. The military issues this holster for a reason, it protects the sidearm and really secures it, tight unit.
Cons: Removing pistol is not as quick as with a thumbreak holster or others that utilize straps or other lock mechanisms. Bianchi makes straps for those that require faster drawing but the top flap is removed to do so.This holster is the best I have seen to protect your sidearm....

nice brush holster

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TN Written on September 16, 2010
Wanted a holster for my glock 21 that would protect it a little and keep it clean when i'm beating around in the woods and going through brush. This holster does the job well.
the belt clip allows u to take it off and put it on without taking off your belt, which i like.
Pros: durable
Cons: none yet...

Really comfortable and convenient

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on November 5, 2009
The picture doesn't show it, but the back has a springy metal bracket for attaching to a belt. The bracket unclips at the bottom and swings out so you can slide it under your existing pants belt, and then reclips. No reason to undo your belt. Bigggest problem with most belt holsters is that you want the holster positioned on your hip almost exactly where the side belt loop is on your pants; usually this forces you to move the holster in front of or behind where it is most comfortable. Other alternative is to wear a second belt or spend a lot of money on a two-piece inner/outer law enforcement type of belt system.
Pros: Comfortable, easy on/off, trigger shield provides snug fit for gun.
Cons: A little pricey but quality...

Awesome holster, but may not fit your pistol

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on August 11, 2009
If you're looking for a versatile holster, this is it. Right or left handed, with a flap or thumbstrap, shoulder holster, thigh holster... this one can do it all. Plus it has an included cleaning rod for field cleaning. It looks professional, functional, and tough.

However, Bianchi advertises it as fitting a Ruger P90. It doesn't. The Trigger Shield on the holster is not large enough to accomodate the P90's larger trigger guard (a standard 1911 guard may do just fine).

If it fits your pistol, you'll have an excellent holster. I'm having to switch to the UM84II (without the Trigger Shield) to hopefully obtain the fit I need.
Pros: Well built, lots of thoughtful features
Cons: Will not fit a Ruger P90...
