I am a Federal Law Enforcement Officer for the US Forest Service. I ordered these boots because I was tired of wearing boots that didnt cut it out in the field and Danner's are too heavy. Wow! These are the best SHOES I have ever put on my feet, period. They are like walking on pillows all day. My feet stay dry and are not fatigued at all. The toe and heel caps are also very durable and can take a beating. I wish I had these during my years in the Army, my feet would have been much happier. Best boot purchase you will ever make. I will never get any other kind...

the best boots monet you can buy for they type of use your going for i airsoft and have to run through water and mud and rocks go uphill downhill eberything my feet stay dry and i never slip i always have full traction a great buy i highly reccomend them thanks

COMFORT 7/10
I was hoping these were going to fit like Blackhawk's light assault boot so I was disappointed with the comfort. They aren't uncomfortable but I wouldn't call them comfortable either. They are a stiff boot, but that is part of their ruggedness. One of the tongues seems to rub me wrong at times too but it seems to go away after a bit. In all fairness I am still breaking in these boots.
MATERIAL/TREAD 10/10
A minor flaw with these boots is it has a texture type material around the toe and heel and mud just cakes onto those spots and is quite difficult to get off.
DURABILITY 10/10
These are waterproof and that is the main reason I picked them up. I use these boots in the winter and they are perfect for that environment. My feet stay warm and dry with these bad boys on.
