Fits Glock 21sf

by Brandon, from United States, IL Written on April 1, 2015
I bought this holster after using a Fobus for a couple of months. I had to wear my belt too tight for comfort to stop pulling my pants waistline up while drawing with a friction retention holster like the Fobus. I looked for a thumbdrive holster from 5.11 but couldn't find one for the Glock 21sf. I eventually found this BlackHawk Serpa holster that was advertised to fit my gun. I've had a BlackHawk holster before for my 1911 and really liked it. When this holster arrived, I was happy to see my gun fit in it like a glove. I now have peace of mind knowing that I can smoothly draw my weapon if needed. If you order a BlackHawk Serpa holster, you won't be disappointed....
Pros:
  • value
  • Fit to gun
Cons:
  • None

Excellent Product for the Price

by Just Like You, from United States, MD Written on March 14, 2015
The BlackHawk CQC SERPA Holster works as expected, whether it's attached via the paddle backing configuration or the belt loop only option (both included). The Level 2 security feature provides additional confidence the firearm will be retained regardless of excessive movement or intentional attempts to disarm, but it's quick release enabled by the wearer ensures the firearm is ready when you need it most. This is an excellent Level 2 Holster, for both concealed and I would suggest 'open' carry too, all at a very cost agreeable price point....
Pros:
  • reputation
  • Value for the price
  • Carbon Fiber
  • Safety and retention features
Cons:
  • screws can be finiky
Best Used for:
  • Open carry
  • concealed gun carry

Perfect Fit

by TC, from United States, AZ Written on August 22, 2014
A perfect fit for my new Ruger SR1911, out of the box, on my hip and scootin' down the road. This holster holds the 1911 tightly and yet allows for a quick and easy draw if ever needed. The release is very easy to use and I really cannot see how anyone could accidentally fire their weapon while drawing, if used properly. The paddle holds tightly and maintains a close to the body fit, I can easily carry concealed under an untucked shirt....

Great product

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on July 7, 2014
Blackhawk owns this category in my view. Ships with both belt and paddle options for carry. Got one for Glock 26, 19 and H&K USP Compact. Discreet enough for carry and good enough for IDPA.
Pros: good value. flexible...

Disappointment!

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, TN Written on April 7, 2014
Purchased this Blackhawk holster to carry my Glock G30S. When the holster arrived in factory sealed packaging, the three (3) screws needed to attach the paddle/belt loops to the holster were missing. I called the factory and they will send me replacements, but very frustrating to not be able to use a product that I spent my money on. My first experience with Blackhawk may be my last.
Pros: Above Average Quality
Cons: Missing screws...

Excellent holster - Glock 30

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on March 29, 2014
Great holster. Fits my Glock 30 perfectly, lots of adjustment points. Comfortable.

Only complaint was that it arrived missing all of the hardware (no screws, no belt adjustment clips). Emailed Blackhawk customer service, received in 3 days. Service was acceptable but disappointing that I had to contact them for hardware that should have been included.
Pros: Perfect fit, very adjustable, easy to disengage weapon
Cons: Don't like paddle option...very bulky...

Can't be beaten

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on August 28, 2013
This holster will do anything you need it to do in an OUTSTANDING manner. Reliability and Retention are excellent, Versatility is high, Durability is great, and Ease of draw along with safety of draw is high. See the videos on how to draw, etc. on this site. I have one and am seriously thinking about getting another as a backup even though there probably is no reason to do so. In summary, I would trust my life and that of my family to this unit. The only issues stem from some training programs not allowing this holster (but I can not for the life of me truly understand why) and if you want to roll around on the ground the debris might jam the release. What in the heck are you doing on the ground for any length of time anyway? The holster is used by numerous agencies in addition to the civilian populace so... I'm OVERJOYED to have one.
Pros: Reliable, Durable, Lev el 2 Retention, Positive re-holstering indication, Multi-Adjustable Positions,
Cons: Can't use my current accessory rail/laser with it.(Poor Me LOL)...

BlackHawk Serpa Carbon Fiber Black for Sig P229

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NC Written on August 15, 2013
Awesome Holster! Only con is I wish it was lined. The Sig Nitron finish is a bit temperamental and would like it to have a lined inside to help protect the finish on the gun.
Pros: Very well made, durable, awesome look, Level II finger release is great
Cons: would be better if it was lined to help protect the guns finish...
