Decent knuckle and back of hand protection from blunt objects/impact without awkwardly bulky over-padding. These gloves could be used in many applications. Pros:  Light, rugged, easy to put on, very comfortable.
Cons:  No kevlar and nomex, but ask yourself - do you really need that in your case?
