I don't know if those other vests (i.e. $29.99) are any good, but this one is fantastic and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality tac vest. It fits perfectly over my bulletproof vest. The length is perfect and cuts off right above my waist. The side adjustment strings are very long, which means I'll just either trim it or tuck it in the vest. Since I won't be using the bottom straps, I found it annoying as it just dangles there. However, upon closer inspection, Blackhawk has designed the straps so that they can be strapped to a bottom molle strap and placed out of the way. Very nice. I haven't been out in the field yet with it as I still have to order the accessories. Being that Opticsplanet seems to have the best price and their customer service is excellent, I'll probably be ordering those accessories from them.
