Pros:  Perfect size for Nalgene bottle. Uses less space than 1 quart USGI canteen
Cons:  Attachment webbing spacing was off.

After obtaining the correct size speed clips I still had difficulty attaching the pouch because the webbing spacing was off. I have attached many MOLLE pouches to the same gear with no trouble (including other BlackHawk products), so it makes me think it's this pouch, not my load bearing harness. After getting it attached the pouch performs mostly as expected. Sometimes you have to fight with the closure flap to get the bottle out. I do like the release buckle vs. velcro or a zipper. There is optional velcro to keep it closed if you want to use it.

Of course this was designed to use with the Blackhawk nalgene bottle, but it can carry so much more. I like it to haul my jetboil stove on backpacking trips. It is designed for harsh environments and use and it does not fail. I've humped it through heavy rain, snow and blistering summer hear. It holds up!!! And you can't beat Blackhawks warranty either. Opticsplanet is great to deal with too!!
