The strap material is too thick and interferes with the charging handle assembly. Also, if you use this adaptor, you will lose the first position of your adjustable stock due to the width of the strap. May not be a big deal for some folks. But I chose to LOOSELY thread mine through, then took a small needle nose, tightened the webbing onto the weapon and tensioned all the way bak to the end of the buckle. This proceedure made it easy. Item does not scratch and look good in place. Best of all, it simply works. I installed this on a Remington 1100.
