This cheek pad definitely makes shooting my Tikka 30-06 rifle more comfortable. I was able to adjust the hight to compensate for the 56mm objective on my scope (night hunting in Germany). I chose this ambidextrous cheek pad because my wife is left eye dominant and I'm right. I also don't like to put my ammo on the buttstock. I keep a 16rd ammo pouch on my belt, and a spare 5rd magazine in my pocket. It was definitely a good purchase.

Pros:  Positive cheek weld, each and every time. Looks great, keeps your face from sliding all over a wood stock. Anchors your vision where employing a scope. No chin muscle or jaw brusing after a long day of shooting.
Cons:  Manufacturer went cheap and built it with two straps instead of three.

My wife shot ARM QUALIFACaTION TEST'AQT and earned her RIFLEMAN"S BADGE because of this cheek pad. Moreover, if I had not suffered magazine jamming and scope issues I would have too. We now have them on all our rifles. They will make a difference for you. The only reason I would not give straight fives (best rating) for this product is because they went cheap and remade them with only two straps. The cheek pad works fine otherwise and I just purchased two more.
