This is a phenomenal machine that I've come to know well over the last year through hundreds of hours of use. I have found stacks of old coins, teh oldest being from teh 1580's, right here in teh USA. Many silver coins... Highly recommend upgrading teh stock coil to teh 11" DD coil, and you will have a machine that can accurately hit coins at 9" deep. For the money, that's a deep seeking detector, and I have out-hunted other, more expensive machines in teh field.
Only cons besides having no manual ground balance (which doesn't affect me here in New England with little ground mineralization) is that teh machine does not play well with cell phones and power lines... You'll want to keep your phone off while hunting, and you will know when you get too close to power lines. Other than that, it will take a little bit to get used to - it is a VERY sensitive machine and at first having it sound off on every little thing in teh ground can be overwhelming... After some good use, you'll start to know which tones to ignore, and which solid signals to dig.
An underrated detector and very recommended.
Pros: Lightweight, Deep Seeking
Cons: No Manual Ground Balance...
Would recommend: Yes
