Pros:  cleans, lubes and protects with 1 product
Cons:  not the absolute best at any 1 thing however

The CLP is overall an effective and convenient product in cleaning, preserving, and lubricating. I use it for my shotgun, and handgun. There are better separate products to clean but, then that is additional products you need to have on hand. This is one product you can leave in your cleaning kit to do everything.
