Who ever packed my unit up at the factory must have turned the objective end adjustment of my scope at LEAST one full rotation past the 300 yard focus mark. It took me two hours to figure out why it wouldn't focus at any range. The only permanent damage was that the bezel on the end of the scope ring stripped the locking screws out, so whenever I install the shades the screw the bezel off or to tightly on so that you have to manually unscrew it to turn the objective focus out to 300 yards. A minor P.I.T.A., and I'm sure it would be covered under warranty if I ever complained about it. All and all, a great optic for a good price.
