NC Star and Leatherwood scopes are both better.
Leatherwood is best of the three. I have all three of them. Get the Leatherwood
Does the job on an M-1 Scout Rail

Pros: Low price, glass is fine for this use
Cons: Difficult to use accurately because of cheek movement
Would recommend: yes

A Good Scope for this price range. It has done what it promised; could use A O and more magnification, but I didn't want to pay $400. Biggest difficulty in using on a Scout rail is the shooter's difficulty in getting a precisely consistent cheek weld; at 100 yards a small variation will move POI several inches. But, if you need a scope to "see" shooting an M-1, this will do the job without any side offset like other options. Would buy again.

Pros: Very clear fild of view
Cons: Quick adjust lens is easily moved when used with scope caps.
Would recommend: yes

I have been hunting with scoped pistols for 17 years and this is my first BSA.I just started using this scope and like it very much. View is very clear with very little distortion at outside edge of lens.Zero adjustments are easy and the power ring is stif and does not move druing shooting. The only con I have is the same I have had with any scope I used that has a quick focus eye piece. With a flip up scope cap, it is easy to move out of adjustment during use, so after I adjust it to my eye I instal the cap with the hing on top for a referance.
