Suprisingly well constructed

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on January 9, 2010
Ok, I bought this scope to get by until I could save up the funding for a "real" tactical scope ie.. nightforce or usoptics. After recieving the scope I was very suprised that the cunstruction seems very rigid and the adjustments (MOA and Magnification) felt very crisp, the push pull turret is actually pretty handy so you don't inadvertently move your turrets. I was extremely suprised the first time I looked through the optics, the clarity is phenomenal especially for the price. I Mounted the scope and hauled it across the state in -20degree weather in the back of my pickup. The scope handled the weather perfectly and when I got there I zeroed at 200 yards with near perfect 1/4-3/8 MOA Groups. I then took my drop charts and rifle out into the prairies and at 600 yards the MOA turrets seem to be spot on and repeatable back to 200 yards and out to any distance between. I have now subjected the scope to sub zero temperatures and back to room temperature 5 times and the optics are still as clear as day one. Even at X24 Magnification the scope is very clear with the side focus adjustment even at shorter ranges. An 8"diameter target is easily seen and hit at 600 yards. The downside to this scope atleast for me is that the turrets cannot be set to zero after you sight in because the push-pull system doesn't allow you to set the drums so I guess you are supposed to sight in and just leave it where ever the drum ends up and then add to it for longer ranges. Mine just happened to ...
