Pros:  Well suited to use with long action dangerous game rifles

The scopes of competitors that have a similar low power variable power range often can't be used with long actions (like the Ruger 77 mkII .458 Lott) without using extender rings -- which may affect loading and ejection. Pros:  Extra wide field of view, Posi Lock, very good lenses, durable, very good value
Cons:  Finishing is not perfect, focus ring works bit too hard
