Pros:  Well built for the money, lightwieght.
Cons:  Clarity not as good as higher priced scopes, but good for price.

This is very high quality looking scope. I bought the Scout scope for the long eye relief as it was mounted in place of the rear flip up sight on a vintage 1903 Springfield 30-06 and didn't want to drill or modify the rifle. I started with light load 125gr and 150gr ammo and the scope performed well - after perhaps 40 rounds I moved to 165gr and 180gr as the lighter bullets just were making ragged holes in the paper. After a few of the 180gr loads the internals of the Scout scope came apart - the rectile broke on the right side and large ring was flopping around inside - of course opticsplanet took it back for a refund - so far as I could tell it just could stand up to the heavy recoil.
