Clear optics, Ballistic Plex useful, power ring stiff, but long-lasting, great warranty. Excellent value, but no lens covers included.

This is the second 2x7 scope with the German reticle that I have purchased. It is mounted on an 1885 Winchester 45/70 rifle. Looking forward to elk hunting in Colorado with this setup.

I mounted this scope on a .358 BLR Browning and it works great. It's a pretty hard recoiling rifle with 250gr. bullets and this scope is holding zero after 150 full house loads. Don't let the shotgun/muzzleloader designation fool you, it shoots 3/4" groups at 100 yds all day long, so paralax is not a problem. Can't beat the Optics Planet price or service! Murf

Perfect size and weight for a mid-length 16" AR. Clarity and light transmission is outstanding. You'd have to spend hundreds more to see an appreciable difference. 2x setting is relatively effective for CQB. 7x is effective to 400 yards for torso-sized targets. Ball Plex reticle is well calibrated for a typical 55gr .223 load at 100, 200, 300 and 400 yard ranges.

I just finished a custom 10/22 project made for the worst conditions, I topped it off with this scope, b/c I only use it on a 22 I do not know how it will hold up to recoil of a larger caliber weapon, but I have abused the heck out of this thing, been dropped water, covered in dirt and mud, used during a freezing rain storm(scope had ice all over it) and it has been banged around ALOT, clarity is incredible. For this price I don't think you could find a better scope.
