Haven't seen any shifts in return or point of impact due to heavy recoil. Eye relief is generous and allows a variety of mounting positions. This model has the Ballistic Plex which for the ranges that I'd normally shoot a handgun( 100 yards or less)isn't really necessary. Lower magnification ranges have great field of view and is easy to sight. From ~4X and up I prefer to use shooting sticks or some supported position to shoot. I'm certain that most of you are younger and steadier... Flip up covers might be a nice addition in place of the supplied bikini straps.
