Both scopes are bright and clear. Both have tight adjustment rings which hold well. The rifle scope exceeds expectations. The spotting scope is a 50mm objective and performs as a 50mm objective will. It is not a large objective. But it is very light and will pack nicely. Though small, the glass is great and reaches way out. ...

Very good value and performance

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CA Written on March 3, 2011
This is my second Burris Fullfield II scope. Performance is very good - easy to use, good optics. As expected, at 14x there will be less leeway in terms of eye position to get a clear view than a 9x with a 50mm objective. With a LaRue mount on an AR, it works great - enough magnification for the long iron targets in a reasonably-size package.
Pros: Clear optics; decent eye-relief / exit pupil; holds zero
Cons: Flip-up scope covers would be nice...
