Quality control is apparently a huge issue at Burris. Do yourself a favor and look into customer service/warranty experiences BEFORE you buy a Burris scope. After my purchase, I've read many accounts of "dead on arrival" scopes, some of which Burris refused warranty service.
I've been told that the turnaround on my scope will be a month or more. I had to pay to ship it back, it's been over two weeks and they haven't even looked at it yet.
I can't in good conscience recommend this brand. I thought I was spending $400 to avoid this kinds of problems. Counting the time I've been unable to use this scope, if I'd have kept saving, I would have been able to afford a MUCH MUCH nicer scope.
