Burris AR PEPR Mount

by Jim, from United States, PA Written on December 16, 2014
Nice one piece mount, good fasteners, with torque specs. quality seems to be a very good grade. Machining was spot on,as zero play could be felt when saddling scope. Mount caps also have no play. I torqued the fasteners as per specs on directions. really solid as opposed to two piece mounts. Con: may well be a bit heavier, maybe an ounce....

Versatile and easy to install.

by Shocktherapy57, from United States, NV Written on December 16, 2014
Purchased this product to use with Burris scope mounted to my FN SCAR 17, works beautifully. Easily removed and installed a quality product that is versatile. Comes with top rings without the Picatinny rails which I liked not having to catch on things but able to adapt for other accessories....nice idea. Shipping has always been on time and top notch....
Pros:
  • Quality, versatility, modifiable, adjustable, heavy load bearing capacity
Cons:
  • None what so ever

AR-PEPR scope base and rings.

by Dennie, from United States, IA Written on December 14, 2014
This is my second PEPR. Good quality. Would prefer hex screws. The screws that came with it are rather cheap. Overall a good addition to my rifles (AR's--5.56 and 7.62x51) The mount is the right height for all but the biggest objective lens. Looks like it would accomadate at least a 50 mm objective lens --probably even a 56 mm objective...

nice mount and nice rebate

by nmranger, from United States, NM Written on December 10, 2014
nice mount so far, haven't had a chance to put it into action yet as i really purchased it because of the rebate they were running for black Friday. I was able to save a bit with the rebate and it made it worth to me. I do plan to use it someday but not sure what it will go on. my first impression of it was that it was a sturdy quality mount. One i get it on something ill update this review. for now all i have to comment on is the shipping time, which was fair and the quality, which seems good...

Heavy weight.

by Hobby, from United States, FL Written on December 10, 2014
Unit is built heavy. Weighing over 12 ounces (3/4 of a pound) it adds measurable and felt weight to a rifle. The fit and finish appear to be be good. Made in China. The weight issue may be a non-issue for a rifle that spends all it's time on a bench rest at the shooting range. For a carry rifle I would look for a lighter mount....

Excellent product

by qa, from Australia, q Written on December 7, 2014
This mount is excellent in every respect. It is well engineered, well finished, precise and robust. A separate ring cover is supplied which allows a less military look if required. Fully functional well made product. I have bought another one to fit a 30mm ring....

solid mount and a decent value

by Dutch, from United States, NH Written on November 20, 2014
This mounted easily and solidly to a bushy flattop. Rings may be ever so slightly high for some shooters' preferences, but I'm still getting a decent cheek weld. I like that Burris includes the picatinny mounts on the rights--eventually I may mount a red dot. But for now, the regular rings (also included) are lighter and more compact....

AR Scope Mount

by mitch, from United States, TX Written on November 19, 2014
Very easy Scope mount to mount and stays tight after repeated firing of 308. Just what I was looking for. I was looking for something that could be used and then taken off easily and this work great, holds zero well. It is being used on a AR10....

Burris AR-PEPR Scope Mount

by raven, from United States, CA Written on November 10, 2014
This is a great mount, especially for the price. It mounted easily and securely to my AR. This was to install a Vortex 1-4x scope. Sight-in went quick once the scope was mounted. I looked at other mounts before deciding on the Burris mount. This mount is rock solid. I will be buying another one of these for my next project....

Burris AR-PEPR

by BKNewcastle, from United States, WA Written on November 10, 2014
This is my third PEPR. The mount is solid, well made (even if made in China) and does what it says....perfect eye position for the scope on AR's. Have looked at the more expensive one piece mounts but I didn't see the increased value for the significant price difference. Fifth star if it was US made....
