This reflex sight was very easy to set up and didn't require much to sight in. It is a very accurate optic. My only downfall would be that to sight it in, there are two lock screws that you have to loosen every time you want to move the dot. There are also no "clicks" for knowing how far you are moving the dot. The kit does come with a dial to tell you exactly how many minutes of angle you are moving, but I didn't use it, so that probably would have fixed my one and only complaint. Great product, great price.

I found removing the Xdm sight very tight in the dovetail.When I installed the Burris mount I had to lighly file the base,and then tap it in with a wooden rod.Make sure the base screws are in before tapping in.The sight went on without a hich. i used a under rail laser to sight in the sight,it worked great. sighted in in 5 min.Great sight will get one for my Buckmark .22
