I purchased this red dot sight to put on my Ruger Mk III 22/45. as a 50 somthing guy with fading vision red dots are great. I have an EO Tech but didn't want to shell out that much for a .22. This was easy to sight in, holds its zeron and it's smaller size looks great on the gun. For the price & quality youcan't beat it.
a great accessory to fast fire

Pros: Relatively easy to sight in, excellent performance, compact and versatile
Cons: None that come to mind

I bought this red dot as a companion sight to my long range scope. It is very versatile. I had doubts about brightness at first, but the sight adapts to lighting conditions so inside it's dimmer and outside its very bright. I'm extremely happy with it. One recommendation for AR shooters, don't mount this on top of your primary optic, buy a 45deg mount and place it behind/underneath your primary. Much more comfortable and easy to use that way.

Pros: Dot is plenty bright and good size for pistol shooting
Cons: Screws keep woriking loose and battery replacement is a problem
Would recommend: yes

Overall, this is an ok red dot for action pistol and steel challenge. It shows up nice and clear in all light levels. The zero does keep drifting with use because the screws tend to work loose. Be careful using only the weakest loctite, though, because you will have to take it apart to change the battery.

haven't been to the range yet, but initial thought is ... installation was simple on my SnW 686+. my only concern at this point is that the red dot is not a well defined, crisp circle. it seems to have glare streaks to come out at different angles. kind of like looking at a street light at night with the way the streaks of light seem to blur the exact size/shape of the light itself. anyone experience this? are all red dot scopes like this?

I have the Burris FastFire II mounted on a Ruger 22lr pistol. This red dot is great to use and makes shooting the gun accurately very easy. It greatly increases the effective range over iron sights. Targets beyond 50 yards become much easier to engage and the hit probability goes way up. Even shots out to 100 yards have not been a problem, so long as the shooter does his part and targets are of reasonable size. Overall I am very pleased with the sight, and it has turned my 22 pistol into one of the most enjoyable guns I own.

This sight does what it says. At first I didn't think the red dot would show up in the bright sunlight here in Nevada. Well it certainly does and it made a believer out of me. Its an excellent product and very well made. I would definitely buy it again.

I mounted this sight on my R8 357 Smith revolver. It mounted easily and sighted in quickly. I have shot about 300 rounds so far and it is holding the sight in point very well so recoil doesn't seem to be an issue. I love the self adjusting brightness of the sight based on ambient light...This feature is awesome. The only negative I can see is that the sight has to be removed from the mounting to replace the battery...Otherwise, I would have given it a 5. Nothing is perfect...all in all this is a pretty good product
