Burris fast fire

by Boomer, from United States, TX Written on February 15, 2015
Pretty good unit, easy to sight in on the target. The only down side is on a pistol it is some what hard to find the dot until you get used to it. Was very east to mount on my pistol. Very small size, cover fits well. I had to modify my holster by notching the backe of the holster so the fast fire sight would fit....

FastFire II

by Steve, from United States, FL Written on February 14, 2015
Easy to install on a Glock. Took a while to adjust but now works well and is now "on the money". I forgot to install the thin spacer and it was impossible to get the elevation adjusted. Once I put the shim/spacer in it works fine. I use mine at the range. At 7 and 15 yards it keeps tight groups....
Pros:
  • ease of use and install
Cons:
  • Nothing I can think of

Good product

by JesusErNorsk, from Norway, Akershus Written on February 7, 2015
Just what my glock needed.
This is what is it sold as, a good red dot sight of a but older model with somewhat blurry red dot.
I have not yet got to test this with more than 50 shots on my glock, but it works flawlessly on the 50 first once...

Not as good as fast fire 3

by tobs2, from United States, CA Written on November 11, 2014
This is an ok product but fastfire 3 is way better....this fastfire 2 has way less features and options then fastfire 3 and not too much cost difference. I recommend getting the fastfire 3 works better and has more features...

FastFire II Red-Dot Reflex Sight w/ 4 MOA Dot Reticle

by Lee, from United States, SC Written on October 30, 2014
Good product for combination of price and quality. I wanted a small, light weight red dot companion for my primary magnified optic. Mounted on at 45deg's, it allows quick, close target acquisition. I think I'll get another to try on my Glock 17....

FastFire II w/glock mount

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AZ Written on June 16, 2014
I wanted to use this for a Glock 22, The sight itself is quite nice and worked just fine on its own, however the Glock mount plate was poorly made and didn't hold the red dot. I called Burris and they told me that the mounting plate doesn't work on anything other than the 9MM versions, this doesn't make much sense to me. Stick to just the red dot or maybe get the FastFire III, I prefer it.
Pros: Reflex sight good for a cheap sight
Cons: Glock mount doesn't work...

Poor Reliability

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, GA Written on May 19, 2014
I have sent back three of these to Burris now, and they keep sending me new units with an assortment of problems. I'd advise against buying this unit.
Pros: Small, light weight
Cons: Switches work randomly....

Not the best, but the best of the cheap.

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, AZ Written on January 11, 2014
Focus on the cons, the pros are too many to name and this is the clear choice for a little red dot. You'll never convince me to buy a $500 red dot for my 22 because I don't need 500m clarity to shoot 150m.
Pros: Affordable, doesn't obscure anything, mounts low
Cons: Slight fisheye, have to dismount and re-zero to replace battery...

HOTSHOT RED DOT

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, FL Written on November 16, 2013
I own both FastFire II & III. I think Burris makes a fine and economical red dot.
Pros: VERY EAST TO USE, ACCURATE
