FastFire II w/glock mount

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, AZ Written on June 16, 2014
I wanted to use this for a Glock 22, The sight itself is quite nice and worked just fine on its own, however the Glock mount plate was poorly made and didn't hold the red dot. I called Burris and they told me that the mounting plate doesn't work on anything other than the 9MM versions, this doesn't make much sense to me. Stick to just the red dot or maybe get the FastFire III, I prefer it.
Pros: Reflex sight good for a cheap sight
Cons: Glock mount doesn't work...

Poor Reliability

I have sent back three of these to Burris now, and they keep sending me new units with an assortment of problems. I'd advise against buying this unit.
Pros: Small, light weight
Cons: Switches work randomly....

Not the best, but the best of the cheap.

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, AZ Written on January 11, 2014
Focus on the cons, the pros are too many to name and this is the clear choice for a little red dot. You'll never convince me to buy a $500 red dot for my 22 because I don't need 500m clarity to shoot 150m.
Pros: Affordable, doesn't obscure anything, mounts low
Cons: Slight fisheye, have to dismount and re-zero to replace battery...

I ordered two of these , one for a mini 14, and one for an XD-40. based on customer rep advice, I got the wrong mount for the mini 14,l and have not yet received the right one. The Burris mount I got for the XD was missing the dovetail mount part, I got the part from Burris , but have not yet got it mounted.
Cons: correct mount...
