Cons:  None! (Other than they are often back-ordered).

These are above and beyond any other design for correction of slightly (or even badly) mis-aligned rails or tap holes. Now that I've found them, I can't imagine ever going back to limited designs that can only adjust for windage. These adjust to ANY combination of windage and/or elevation problems you might have. If you've ever damaged a scope by the old 'shim' or crudely adjustable 'one-axis'-design methods, you will never have to incur that pain again. No more stressing the scope tube, and you can maximize the alignment of the lenses and minimize parallax. Why are these still such secret? Most shooters I know have never heard of them, and hence the local gun stores don't tend to stock this superior design. I ordered the gunsmith's kit (a bunch extra inserts from +5/-5 MOA all the way up to +20/-20 MOA.) A great bargain/investment if you have three or more scopes.
