This is my first time using Burris Tactical rings. My son recommended these and I'm throughly impressed! Using on my Savage model 12 FCV in 223. Well constructed, made to withstand the rigors of bench and field shooting. My next pair of scope rings will definately be Burris Extreme tactical.

I lapped the rings a little to get 100% contact but they were better then others I've seen and didn't cost as much.

I read other peoples reviews and some wrote about heavy but I mounted mine on an M1 Garand so what's a couple more ounces. Sometimes I think I could have or should have went with a cheaper good set of rings but I had the money and wanted the best of the best for my baby. These are it. They are much more heavy duty than typical scope rings and will definately outlast you or I. They like the rifle I mounted them on are things I will never have to worry about.

The rings are well made, look great and the three bolt design allows them to be used on heavy caliber rifles (I use it with 7.62x54R rifle and NIKON ProStaff scope). Reasonably priced and highly recommended!

I use the rings to hold a mueller tactical scope on my savage 10 fcp 308. The rings hold very tight. I like that they have 6 screws. Very good construction. High quality.

I have only used these for a short trip out at the range to zero in my scope, but they still seem to be very solid and no movement so far after about 25 rounds. I picked up a set of the lowest pair to use on my M1A because the rail mount for the rifle sits up a little high from the stock so that the iron sights can still be used. I did end up having to get an adjustable stock so that I could get the correct eye alignment with the scope and still have a good cheek weld. Dont think you can beat the price of these rings and from my limited time with them, as well as all of the other positive ratings, I dont think you will be disappointed with any set that you get.

Purchased these mounts for the new Ruger 10-22 take down. I need a mount that would center up after disassembly. These mounts do that well at 50 yards...

I mounted these rings on a picatinny rail on top of my Savage Model 12 FCV. Before tightening there was some play (most likely because these rings can also be used for a weaver rail). Everything about these rings was great accept the half inch nuts on the side which you tighten to fasten the rings to the rail. I was using a special 1/2 inch socket attached to a torque wrench which was set to 65 ft/lbs one nut tightened much more than the other. therefore leaving an uneven amount of threads sticking past each nut. My shirt has already gotten caught on the part of excess threads sticking past the nut. Other than that these are great rings.
