Pros:  Too numerous to list
Cons:  No wrap-a-round eye cups
Would recommend:  yes

These binoculars are amazing. They truly out perform glass costing twice as much. These are very well made and crystal clear. The only thing I miss from my older Steiner's is the wrap-a-round eye cups to block side light. That is the only thing I can think of that would make these better.

Pros:  Obvious high quality. Great Optics. Useful straps and harness. All for what seems a budget price ($220 and a credit).
Cons:  None discovered yet.
Would recommend:  yes

neoprag wrote:

I'm not an expert, but these are clearly much better than the Nikon compact binocs they replaced. They feel great in the hands. Adjustments are exact and easy. Visually terrific. I like both the shoulder strap and the harness. Even the carrying case (on it's own shoulder strap) is very useful and a nice touch. Maybe a real expert would want something more "high end," but these would more than meet the needs of most of the world's population.

Great performance and value for money.Took them on recent African photo safari where they performed beyond expectations.Operator is a PH and uses Swarovski for his own use. He liked them so much as to have a client coming soon to hunt buy a pair for his trackers use as they have to determine between trophy -non trophy animals. I gave mine to his assistant for the weeks tip as he was begging to buy them to replace his Nikon's that didn't compare. Ordering my replacement as we speak.Hard to beat the performance for the price

Very good bin for the price. Handy body and overall solid construction, smoth focus, nice contrast and natural colours. Though I would say that the weakest thing about this model is central focus construction, it actually can be easilly damaged so you better watch out not drop it etc. But on other issues this is a good choice for the price

Very very good binocular.field of view is so clear that it is almost unreal. Comparing these binoculars to the Steiner's HD equivalent, the Bushnell beat them on every front, clarity & sharpness outstanding the only thing that lets them down are bad fitting front lens covers very easy to knock off. I am using them predominantly for marine work, but great for bird spotting in back garden. Best price from Opticsplanet.

Pros:  Bright Optical Quality, Superb Features
Cons:  Coating Blemish on Eyepiece Lens
Would recommend:  yes

Nah Liang Tuang wrote:

I am an army reservist and have used binoculars for field surveillance and spotting for over 12 years. I have been issued mostly Steiner and old British Avimo bins in the past and I have to say that the Bushnell Ultra Legend HD (191043) clearly beats even comparable Steiner military/marine bins in terms of image clarity. Also, other features that I like include the locking diopter adjustment ring and the securely fitting rain guard. However, the legend HD pair that came to me had a minor quality control issue in that one of the eyepiece lens has a small blemish on the lens coating (suspect that the coating was not evenly applied). But since the optical quality is unaffected, I can live with it.

Easily focused and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Occasionally the focus gets a little bit shaky but never more than a tiny adjustment to get it back.
