I take this opportunity to share my experience with the Bushnell 10X50 Legend binoculars that I recently purchased from Optics Planet. I had a smaller, less expensive 7X35 purchased at a discount store. They were smaller and lighter, but on my deer hunts in Oregon, they just did not work well. The Bushnell 10X50 Legend had the features I wanted, namely: 1) they were clear and sharp, even in low light conditions; 2) the 10X gave enough detail without shaking like higher powers; 3) they were wider-angle than other style binoculars of that power letting me come quicker on the area of interest, and then seeing more; 4) they are water-proof, working well in fog and moisture; 5) they all the features I wanted, worked as advertised, and without costing an arm and leg like other water-proof binoculars that are available.
