About two years ago I purchased the Bushnell Legend 1200 with ARC rangefinder for use in archery and firearms sports. The unit itself is excellent! It is easy to set up and use in the field. The optics work well for me (adjustable eyepiece) but the supplied lanyard seemed flimsy at best. Eventually, I succeeded in breaking the lanyard (snagged a passing bush) but did not hurt/drop the rangefinder. That incident precipitated the earnest search for an acceptable attachment system. There are a few different ones on the market but I had difficulty in finding one that I felt strong and simple enough for my use.
