The scope is solid and well built. You get great bang for the buck. Crystal clear optics and no issues with accuracy. Easy to adjust and easy to install. Have had other Bushnell products and have never had any issues. Would buy the same scope again if another one was needed. Couldn't be more satisfied...
Pros:
  • Clear, bright optics
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • precise target alignment

Outstanding Riflescope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, PA Written on September 30, 2013
The world of high end riflescopes is a good example of the theory of diminishing returns. Bushnell does not have a long history of manufacturing tactical riflescopes; yet, this unit turns out to be an excellent performer. It is made in Japan which speaks to quality, and it sells for nearly half the price of the comparable Leupold scope. I have used both and the Bushnell performs virtually equally. The glass is excellent, the build quality is solid, the turrets have a precise feel as does the magnification adjustment. One thing that this scope has that the Leupold lacks as well as the even more expensive comparable Night Force unit is a parallax adjustment down to 25 yards which makes it usable on small caliber rifles as well as high power air guns. The only minor criticism is that under low light conditions the first few rheostat settings for the illuminated green reticle are are a bit aggressive.
Pros: Excellent Glass with Excellent Built Quality
Cons: None...

ET6245F - Excellent Buy

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WI Written on September 24, 2013
Great price for an FFP mil dot scope. The power range is excellent a the parallax adjustment works well. Minor complaints would be that the target turrets are quite large - too large. Also, it would be nice if the reticle illumination had an auto shut off like some others do. Overall, a great scope. Very pleased.
Pros: adjustments are in mils to match reticle ,clear glass, good power range
Cons: no zero stop, turrets are a bit big, no auto shut off...

Excellent value for the money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on May 10, 2013
This is a very, very good scope and the glass is terrific. It has features you'd normally expect to pay 500-600 more for.
Plus that Bushnell "no questions asked" refund for the 1st year....

First Focal Plane on a budget

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, OK Written on May 26, 2012
It's great to have a first focal plane scope to actually use the mil dots as intended. Mine tracks extremely well and is a bargain compared to the $2,500 and up scopes. It is not as clear as I would have liked, but it is useable. It would be nice to crank the power down to around 2x or 3x on the bottom and give up the 24x for a 15x or 16x...that would improve useability and probably clarity as well. Yes I will purchase another....but I'd prefer a lower power on bottom.
Pros: First Focal Plane that works on a budget
Cons: Not as clear as expected....

great tactical scope for the money. Sighted for 600yds you can shoot from 100 to 800 yds just with reticle. 1st focal plain keeps reticle scale accurate at all powers.
Pros: adjustments are in mils ,clear glass, good power range
Cons: no 1/2 mil marks on reticle...
