Even though this part is made of plastic with metal inserts, it is solid. Fit and finish of body and inserts are good. I have used the adaptor on a pair of Bushnell, Legacy 10x50 binoculars with no problems. I would buy again without reservation.

Pros:  Strong, attaches easily.
Cons:  Attachment point is too far from the center of gravity.

However, the attachment point and method of attachment is too far forward of the binocular's center of gravity.
