I have owned these for 4 years now and have used them in the toughest terrain from the rugged African sub Saharan dessert to the back country of Alaska and Russia, and backpacking in the Grand Canyon and the high Sierras. I did a lot of research before settling on these. You should not buy larger magnification for bird watching, hunting, or looking at planets unless you plan to use a tripod. Your hands will not be able to hold it stable enough while looking at moving animals and objects.
The only drawback to these is that they are not waterproof or fog resistant. They stood up great to the dry heat and dust of the Sahara dessert but in moist or cold temperatures they tend to fog up. A great value for the money. Eye cups adjust and focus adjust easily and convently. Lens protectors are secured to the binoculars so they don't get lost. Totally satisfied.
