Bushnell 16x32 Camo Binos

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on February 18, 2012
I purchased these for use at the shooting range for my spotter to use. Unfortunately they do not work for that purpose. With glasses of any kind on, the binoculars become impossible to use. I have an older set of 8x40 Bushnell binoculars that work fine with glasses on but I wanted the extra magnification. Without glasses on, these have a very limited field of view due to the magnification and are limited as far as usefulness for hiking/sightseeing. The glass is also not as clear as my older Bushnell binos. All in all I was disappointed with my purchase but someone with different needs than myself may have better luck.

Excellent Value

The 32mm Objective works well in low light. Focus is sharp and precise. Weight is not an issue. The "Made In China" neoprene carrying case belt loop is worthless, it rips from the case. The belt loop problem also existed on the black model of this product that I obtained. I purchased a durable ammo belt case at the local surplus store for these binoculars. The product is well worth the hassle of the extra case.
The neck strap appears to be small nylon cord, not much use, but I do not want something hanging off of my neck where I use or could damage the binoculars! Optics are great in the woods or open spaces. Bushnell created an ideal, niche product because of the 16X power, focus, clarity, weight, and durablity. It is clear the Bushnell approached this design with practicality. The black color version of this product has the exact qualities of the camo version.
Pros: Durable, Light, Diopter
Cons: Carrying Case, Neck Strap...
