The switch looks to be a push button which is it not. It is actually a small wheel which must be turned clockwise to turn the laser on. Replacement of batteries is a mystery and you will only be able to stumble on the secret. Hint, you do not turn anything such a what would be on the treaded tube. The low price attracted me to this item and it is typical of GETTING WHAT YOU BAY FOR. Don't make my mistake, spend $20 or $30 more and get a bore sight which goes into the chamber.

Very pleased with this product. Ready to use as soon as I opened the box. I've used it on gun calibres from 5.45mm x 39 up to 9mm. Simple to use and really saves many times it's cost since you will not use up ammunition. I can't imagine any gun owner, reloader or shop who wouldn't need one.
