Good Value

Very nice scope for the money. Wish it had side focus, but then it would have cost more. For the price point, this is a good value.
Pros: Quality Glass...

bushnell elite 5-15x40

The Bushnell Elite line in general and this rifle scope in particular offer great value for the consumer. Many (most) of us have to get as much value for our $ as we can and while you can find better performing products, I do not think you can find better performing products at this price point.
Pros: overall value
Cons: internal adjustment range...

Great low end scope for precision rifle

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on July 19, 2012
This was my first scope in a low budget Precision rifle build. I often used it out to 1k and it worked great for what it offered. Tracked just fine. Glass is great for a $400 scope. Turrets OK with the exception of the clicks not being so crisp and the hash marks not lining up, but it did not affect the performance. It had nice big knobs to grab in a hurry.

The only thing I disliked was the dark green writing was hard to see at times so I filled my turret marks in with enamel white paint. Also having a Mil/MOA combo scope isn't quite ideal to have as you need to convert how many clicks in MOA you need to adjust for what you see on your reticle, but that isn't Bushnell's fault. It is just the option you would be choosing to go with when purchasing a Mil/MOA combo scope.
Pros: everything
Cons: Turret clicks are not so crisp and can be hard to read. Mil/MOA combos take a little more thinking when calling shots...

Great Scope!

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on February 8, 2012
Bought this scope for my Kimber 308 but decided to put it on my wifes Sako 270. Sighted it in at 100 yds then traveled from Iowa to PA to shoot groundhogs at her parents place. Never checked if it held zero. She shot a groundhog at 350 yds in the head. I was sold on the scope. Actions speak louder than words. Definently will buy another one for my rifle. ...
