New StealthView Digital Night Vision products use a powerful infrared spotlight to produce images with resolution rivaling that of Generation 2 and Generation 3 optics. The view is sharp from edge to edge, and they're effective in complete darkness and at long distances. As the name suggests, they're also invisible to game animals and observers.
No telling how you'll react when faced with lurks after dark, but with Bushnell Night Vision, time will never again dictate your hours of operation.

Excelent Product. I am very impressed what I got for the money I paid. Clear image for a 1st Gen type night vision.
You can see at 600 feet and if the light conditions are not bad, the image is clear. The power botton should be a switch, sometimes you can turn it on by touching the push botton. Other than that its good. Super IR doesnt need to be on. same clear image without.
Nice, but overhyped

I placed brand new Energizer batteries in this unit twice, used the unit each time for maybe 10 minutes, and within a matter of days the batteries were dead. Very frustrating, and very poor engineering on their part.
good night vision monocular, very powerful

I'm very happy with my purchase of this product. Bushnell's optics are consistently clear and high-quality. The range is excellent-- I can see 600 ft plain as day. It is a tad bright but one review is extremely exagerrated. It does not have any ill effects on my natural night vision adjustment. I would highly recommend this product.
One more thing

I can't find any way to edit my earlier review, so I add this as another discovery:
The instructions for this unit say "remove the batteries if viewer will not be used for 2 months." This sounds like the usual warning for every battery-operated product to avoid corroded batteries damaging the product.
Not in this case. Even if you don't use the viewer at all, a fresh set of batteries will be dead in 2 months. Even when turned off, this unit consumes enough power to completely drain batteries in a month or two. This makes it hard to keep the gadget ready for quick use.
Either remove the battery pack from the unit when not in use, or plug a cable (not supplied) into the external power jack. You do not need to supply power to the cable; just plugging it in disconnects the battery and should preserve it. It's easier to pull the cable out than to fumble with replacing the batteries if you want to quickly use the unit.
