Cons:  Manual/guide not included in box, my rifle ballistics not in unit, no lanyard included

Great unit, having used a cheaper and less-ranged rangefinder previously. Standing on my deck I can range 623 metres on a tree, while standing. Compact size, not heavy in my opinion. Only quirk I found, (perhaps being a demo model/refurbished as on box) is the focus ring is almost out of adjustment to reach focus for my eye, and I have OK vision. I like the modes, ie scan - updates range as you move it without the need to repress button. Change from yard to metres etc.

I bought one of these and used it in my backyard before taking it to the deer stand to laze my hunting area. It didn't work. Took it back and received another,took it to the deer stand and mapped my area with it, brought it back out of the gun safe to use this year and it doesn't work. Yes the battery is good. Unfornately, I have to return it to the manufacturer and that pay more for shipping. What a piece of garbage.
