Love it! Love it! Love it! Was shooting a Weatherby Vanguard in 7mm Rem Mag. Mounted perfectly with Weaver 35/36 bases, I purchased online for 4.99 a piece. Went to the club and zeroed it at 100 in three rounds with cheap ammo (all I could find) Remington Express Core Lokt 140 gr. after I boresighted it. I was dead on from the start. I then dropped in the F turret, by turning one screw and removing the old inner turret, then (without spinning the outer turret) I dropped in the 'f'. I then fired once to make sure it was still zeroed and I was. I dropped back to 200 yds and clicked the BDC turret to 200 and fired 3 rounds. I put a 1.5" group on the paper within 1" of bullseye, vertical perfect with just a smidgen of drift. I then clicked to 300 and backed up to 300 yds. I fired 4 rounds and held a 4" group. The vertical was dead on, almost perfect with one round going a half inch low and the others drifting to the right. I attributed this to the blustery cold day (48 degrees) that I chose to zero. 20kts off/on, right on my back, but swirling around since I was on the edge of a field next to a treeline. Then I clicked 400 and moved back to 400 yds. Once again the turret was right on, within 1 inch of vertical perfection. My windage drifted 6 inches to the right, which again I attributed to the wind. I love this. 400 yds is an extremely long distance to shoot a deer, but I would feel very very confidant shooting with this setup out to that far, with perfect conditions, ie: a stable rest and no wind. I was using a table/chair and a cheapo vise, that requires shouldering the rifle, but the forearm was locked in pretty good. I love the rangefinder too. It was always within 1 yd at every distance of my leica 1000 rangefinder, and brought back the range in about a second, even though it took forever for the Leica, since steadying it is next to impossible at that distance. If I had the money, I would have one on every rifle I owned. Eye relief was normal at 3.5" and the bullets ejected well with the scope over the bolt. Highly recommend. I had it zoomed to 12X the whole time and the optics were clear and bright. I love this scope.
