Cons:  Trigger function not good; does not detect many pitches; velocity is not accurate; lacks selectivity; gets easily confused between pitched balls and hit balls.

I was NOT able to validate any of the claims made by the blurb that accompanied the product. You have to be very close to the ball to get it to register. It would easily read the speed of the ball after it was hit instead of as it was being pitched. I will never recommend this product to anyone for sports apps. It worked great on clocking car speeds, but not on clocking baseball speeds. I would never buy this product again.

Pros:  very comfortable quality feel, easy to use, picks up speed of small obects easily, digital readout is clear and MPH and KPH is easy to switch between
Cons:  none so far but have only used it a couple of times
