Fits the Bushnell TSR-25 but.........

by Steve, from United States, IN Written on February 20, 2015
They will not stay on because there is not enough lip on the Bushnell to make the cover stay. You will easily knock the caps off. You will have to glue the caps on if you want them to stay. The caps will stay on, but when you go to open them, they will fall off. Nothing wrong with the caps, but just that there is not enough material on the red dot for the caps to grab onto....

Measure twice, order once.

by Terry, from United States, CA Written on February 17, 2015
I have a lot of scopes with these covers. Over the past couple years I've been replacing the stock slip on covers with these. I use them all equally so no particular one gets high usage so I can't comment yet on how well they will hold up in the long haul but so far no problems and I've read many reviews and that doesn't seem to be a common issue. To me this type of cover is more convenient and I really like the look it adds to my rifles as well.
If I could change one thing about them, I would stop using red and yellow buttons and make them either all black or maybe ODG. I like the look, in fact they look good but colored buttons are not necessary for any reason so for the tactical or camo rifle why have high vis parts when the idea is to blend. For that reason I used the objective lens covers on both ends on a couple of my rifles. I also recommend getting a cheap micrometer for accurately measuring your scope ends if you're ordering through the mail, if you don't have one. Harbor Freight has them on sale frequently for ten bucks, they work great and you can use it for many other things....

Great product - wrong size

by RAH, from United States, PA Written on February 17, 2015
Received a front and back cover in great time. The front cover fit perfectly however, the back one was too big. I ordered per the sizing chart but had to return the product. The return process has been very good so far but am waiting to receive my replacement one back....

Scope Cover

by chris, from United States, TN Written on February 17, 2015
Not bad for the money. It would be nice if they had a product line that was made out of metal. It would also be nice if they sold flash kill for the objective end. Overall I would buy this product again....

  • Price, simple, effective

Butler Creek Caps

It works as expected. It opens crisply and quietly and has a snug fit with my scopes. It will be interesting to see how it holds up in the field. Optics Planet was helpful in figuring out which covers would go with my scope....

Great Covers

by Will Campbell, from United States, NH Written on February 9, 2015
The Butler Creek Flip-Open scope covers work very well. I have several of them. The only problem I have had with them is obtaining the proper size, for a good fit. A couple of times, in my case. the cover has been too large. I think Butler Creek needs to look at their sizing charts and make sure of the listed sizing....

Do their job well

by James L., from United States, IN Written on February 8, 2015
I have these on all of my scopes and they all perform very well. I used the chart on Butler Creeks website to choose the correct part number for the scope I needed them for,and they seemed to be one size to large. I would recommend measuring the objective and ocular bells yourself and choosing the size you need from those measurements. If the measurements fall between sizes they offer choose the cover that is slightly smaller than what you measured for because they are somewhat pliable and will offer a tight weather resistant fit...
