Pros:  Very good for the price
Cons:  Wish it had a display light for night use and a little more range.

It seems obvious by sight that pitches are coming in at varying speeds, but the gun shows the same reading. I am not able to record pitch speed while catching, it seems that I must be behind the fence to get what might be an acurate reading. While trying to read pitch speed with a live hitter in the box, the meter drops from 52 to 43 at the last second during the bat swing which seems to imply it is reading bat speed instead of pitch speed.
