Ok product for the price

This product is average in my opinion. It does get the job done however you will have to press farely hard to actuate the light. Also I had to send the first one back because it did not work. So quality is questionable at best.
Pros: easy to use, plug and play
Cons: takes a lot of pressure to actuate light...

CAA Tape Switch for G2

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on June 16, 2011
The kit requires the battery spring from the original G2 tail cap.

The kit also requires a way to mount the tape switch to the forearm, such as double-sided tape, which is not included.

These are not deal killers, but i wish I was informed in the product discription before purchase.

One reviewer found that the switch required a lot of pressure to activate. I did not find this so.
Pros: An inexpensive solution.
Cons: All required parts not included. ...

Command Arms Accessories Surefire G2 pressure switch

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on December 30, 2009
The CAA Surefire G2 pressure switch requires deliberate, but not excessive pressure, to activate the flashlight. Fortunately the pressure pad is not overly sensitive - avoids the G2 being turned on accidentally. I found that the 2" long pressure pad only activated the G2 if the 1" tip of the pad were depressed and the 8" length includes the 2" pad (plus 6" cord). I have yet to use the switch under prolonged conditions to determine whether the switch becomes uncomfortably hot as I've read with other pressure switch reviews. But so far I am very satisfied with the mechanical and electrical performance.
Pros: deliberate pressure needed to activate G2
Cons: None...
