I needed to raise my 3x9x40 Nikon prostaff optic up to see over the A2 front sight on my RRA mid-length HB and the CAA riser worked out perfect for the height I needed. One thing I had to do was cut about 1/4" off of the back only because I wanted to keep my rear flip up B.U.I.S mounted and the length was a little too long. No big deal though, a hacksaw, metal file, sand paper and some black touch up paint took care of my needs.
