Pros:  Light weight, easy attachment, no external springs
Cons:  a little flimsy

I have used other brands of bipod and like the cant and turn feature of the Caldwell, I gave a 4 rating due to it being a little unsteady in comparison to the fixed type, however that is the trade off for the versatility I suppose. It is lightweight and ideal for marching through hard terrain. Good value for money.
