Pretty cool toy for beginning astronomers. Not a serious telescope but I have fun with it. Pros: Decent optics and images for the price, versatile

paying twice for your telescope

Celestron requires you pay to ship the tripod to them when you recieved it broken, in effect making you pay an extra 30 bucks to get it fixed because of the crappy packaging layout they use to ship it. The eye piece lays against the clamps on the tripod in the shipping package, so any small jolt (and we know UPS is gonna throw it around) breaks the clamp. Seriously they need to change this package layout.
Pros: Easy to set up,
Cons: The tripod came broken in the box. Star finder sucks....
