For birdwatching, the field of view is very comfortable. We used these this summer & fall instead of our trusty Olympus 8 x 25 WP I bioculars and were very pleased with the Celestron. Good value for the money. Highly recommend them!

I have used thes binocluars for avain point counts and field biology for two years. I was surprised by the quality of the optics for this price range, very bright and very clear. They have also proven to be very durable and have not been knocked out of alignment even after repeated bashings. My one complaint is with the eyecups which tend to move on their own so that they are almost never even when you bring them up to your eyes. I have resorted to taping them in place! There is also a small amount of distortion at the periphery of the viewing area.
